• The vw electronic steering lock emulator will fix your steering lock failure error, so the vw Esl Elv universal steering lock emulator will always bypass vw Elv.

VW Passat, coverage from 2006 to 2014. Emulates the electronic steering lock module which includes the steering lock module itself and the key reader (base station) for Megamos-48/46 keys. The emulator replaces both. IMMODATA, ESL_ID and KEY_ID must be stored before use. Side effect – the vehicle can be started without a valid transponder key by using any suitable blank key which can simply be inserted into the key slot.

Install Volkswagen VW Emulator:

• Remove the car comfort in front of the first passenger seat.
• Simple steps to program and operate it
• Read eerprom ST-M95320 comfortably by any device that supports it (vvdi prog, orange 5, …..)
• Save this dump file and write it to the emulator's eeprom.
• We need the original ELV to sync with our MK3 emulator via the MK2358 communication adapter.
• After connecting the obd plug and the original emulator and mk3, the green and red light start flashing for 2-3 minutes before the green light turns on by itself
• Connect MK3 emulator instead of original ELV which is no longer needed.
• Put the comfort back in the car.
• The car starts successfully.

Important note

1- Megamos 48 Transponder type:
After connecting the Mk3 emulator the car becomes immobilized and it is possible to program new keys through the comfort unit.
2-Proximity remote key; 46 type transponder:
After applying the Mk3 emulator, the vehicle becomes disabled, and you will not be able to program any new keys until you reinstall the original steering lock.
