The Truck Explorer Standard package consists of the most common functions for trucks. You can work via OBD or by direct connection to the ECU on the table via the DirectConnect 2U tool.

1. MB Note License

The license allows reading/writing of FLASH and EEPROMs of the MR controller (PLD).
The unit can be contacted via:
– OBD (MR is installed inside the truck) or
– Direct connection with DirectConnect 2M (MR is placed on your table).

This function is especially useful for chip tuning work and unit recovery after a crashed update. All operations are done via OBD, no need to disassemble/open the unit capsule, so the unit remains in factory condition and thus the warranty is not voided.
This function allows you to clone an MR file. You can read an MR file, save it to a *.bin file, and write it to another MR file.

2. MB Keys License

Learn MB Keys – allows adding new keys to the truck via the OBD control unit (MR (PLD)). No additional equipment is used, all operations are done offline, only connection to the truck is required.
It is possible to add a new key, and erase old keys, while connected to the unit via:
– OBD (MR is installed inside the truck) or
– Direct connection with DirectConnect 2M (MR is placed on your table).
Disable the immobilizer in both forward and reverse positions. IMMO OFF.

3. MB CALC License

MB VeDoc and FDOK Calculators – Calculates access codes for the VeDoc (X1, X2, X8) and FDOK (XT,
Must be used with XENTRY (DAS) software and compatible diagnostic tool where these codes are requested. All operations are done offline. Connection to the truck is only required for VEDOC.
No truck connection required for FDOK calculations. FDOK code for new and old DAS.
DAS Password Generator – calculates the password required by DAS to access some special functions (MR downgrade from Euro 4, 5 to Euro 3 etc. AdBlue disable)

4. French driving license

License allows access to FR memory. Supports FMR; FR; FR/CPC; CPC1EU; CPC2EU. Immo disabled in FR.
Not supported: CPC2 NAFTA; CPC2+ NAFTA; CPC4 NAFTA; CPC3; ADM2; ADM3.

5. License 2011+

For PLD (Class Memo) memory reading and writing operation PLD with XC2287 microprocessor, manufactured in 2011 and later. The license allows access to firmware 22B, 23E and 24B from 2011.
Continental Euro5 PLD: (MCU XC2287 (768KB Flash), 1 EEPROM M95640). Locked processor is not supported.
Note: MB MEMO license required.

6. License 2014+

For reading and writing operation in PLD (Class Memo) memory PLD with XC2287 secured microprocessor.
The license allows access to firmware 21x, 23F, 24C, 25x and 26x from 2014. Open access read and write memory for PLD, manufactured in 2014 and later, using the Infineon XC2287 microprocessor.
Continental Euro5 PLD: (MCU XC2287 (768KB Flash), 1 EEPROM M95640). Locked processor supported.
PLD must be opened. Guide will be provided by support team.
Note: DirectConnect2M tool and License MB MEMO are required.

7. License 2018+

For reading and writing operation in PLD (Class Memo) memory PLD with XC2288 secured microprocessor.
The license allows access to firmware 30C from 2018. Open access read and write memory for PLD, manufactured in 2018 and later, using the Infineon XC2288 microprocessor.
Note: DirectConnect2 tool and License MB MEMO are required.
PLD must be opened. Guide will be provided by support team.

8. DC2 License

The license allows working with the DirectConnect 2U (DC2) tool to program various control units in the vehicle without the need for the complete vehicle system.
ISP helps to read and write unknown or corrupted firmware from vehicle control units. BSL mode, TriCore BL mode, Motorola BKG mode, NEC Serial BL mode ready.
Read/write MR, MCM, ACM, CPC, FR, FFR, ADM. Learn PLD, FFR, PTM key. For all options, you need to have appropriate licenses.

9. CRV License

The license allows to read/write FLASH and EEPROMs of the engine control unit of CRV1 and CRV2 of Mercedes S, ML and GL classes via OBD2.

10. CR License (CDI)

The license allows reading/writing FLASH and EEPROMs of the CDI engine control unit used in MB V-class, Sprinter and Vito via the diagnostic port. CDI pairing<>WSP.

11. MCM BSL License

License to read/write Flash and exEEPROM for MCM, MCM2 and ACM2 memory controllers only via DirectConnect 2M tool in BSL mode.
Type 1. MCM Continent (MCU TC1796-256F / TriCore 1 EEPROM M95640) Plastic.
Type 2. Continental MCM2 (MCU TC1796-256F / TriCore 1 EEPROM M95128) Metal
Type IV. ACM2 Continental
Note: DirectConnect 2M tool is required. Full license name is MB_MCMACM_BSL
The reading process takes about 20 minutes.
The writing process takes about 20 minutes.

12. SFTP Keys Authorization

Added EIS/MCM/TCM key operations for SFTP EURO6 trucks.
'Read Key Info' – Read TCM and MCM key status;
MCM and TCM 'unpair' (online, DC mode, codes required);
“Pairing” MCM and TCM with EIS (offline, OBD);
The license includes 600 unpairing codes.

13. SFTP CALC Authorization

MB SFTP (MP4) VeDoc Calculator (X1; X2; X8).
The calculator works via OBD or via DirectConnect 2M tool.
Important! The license only works with a dedicated MCM read/write license. You can only calculate VeDoc on a MCM that you can read/write. Note: SFTP – Strategic Future Truck Platform. Original name for MP4 EURO6 Truck.

14. IVECO VCM2 License

Read/write IVECO VCM2 FLASH & EEPROM memory via OBD or by connecting DirectConnect 2 tool.

16. CPC3 EXTRA LICENSE

SFTP (MP4) read/write speed limit: MCM and CPC3.

18. MB DIAG License

The license allows reading DTC with fault description on MP3 and SFTP (MP4) trucks.
Clear DTC.
Read and clear error codes. Export full report to PDF file.

19. MAN DIAG License

The license allows to read DTC with fault description on MAN trucks.
Clear fault codes. Read and clear fault codes. Export full report to PDF file.
Supports EDC7 and FFR systems.
EDC7 and PTM systems are not supported.

20. Android License

Truck Explorer Android 2.1 License. For phones (tablets) we have created a simpler and more useful Android mobile application: “Truck Explorer”. The license is included, but the program must be purchased from the Google Play Store.

21. Update/Support Subscription.

The package includes a 12-month update/support subscription. After 12 months, the device will work, but support and updates will not be provided.
